Ethernet
- Overview
- This page allows you to control the ethernet link mode. Auto allows the print server automatically to select the link mode. If the connection fails by Auto, please try a static configuration and select the static 100BaseTX or 10BaseT link mode.
- NOTE : if you set an incorrect static link mode, you might not be able to communicate with your print server.
- Jumbo Frame (only for supported models)
- Jumbo Frame technology makes the communication speed faster by sending larger packets of data. Jumbo Frame technology can only be used in 1000BaseT mode.
- Jumbo Frame technology requires all peripherals such as PCs (LAN/Network adapters), hubs, switches and routers on your network support Jumbo Frame technology. If there are any devices on your LAN/Network that do not support Jumbo Frame technology then network communication may fail.
